Project title: Data path vs. control path measurements

PhD enrolment: Y (UC3M)

Objectives: To correlate control plane measurements with data plane behaviour through the evaluation of large-scale data plane measurements and the corresponding control plane information (e.g., from BGP).

Tasks and methodology: Use of active and passive measurements to generate the appropriate information so as to be able to perform the intended correlation

Results:
This task will contribute mainly to the design of novel measurements methods as well as the evaluation of the results
Dissemination: 1 to 2 publications per year to either conferences, magazine or journals

Planned secondment: Samknows 3 Months, hands on training on measurements. Telefónica I+D, 3 Months, placement with co-tutor.
