The Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRI – Fundació Catalana per a la Recerca i la Innovació) organizes this year, from 9 to 18 of November, the 23rd Science Week, during which many events will be held in Catalonia. The central themes of this year’s edition focus on cultural heritage.
5G-TRANSFORMER project takes part in this event with a talk given by the CTTC Researcher Jorge Baranda. In its talk, Jorge Baranda presents the main axis and characteristics of upcoming 5G Mobile Networks as well as an overview of the 5G-TRANSFORMER architecture and how it fits into the 5G landscape to students of 1st year of higher level professional training. In addition to this, Jorge Baranda also presents the CTTC experimental facilities used in the context of mobile networking research, in general, and in the 5G-TRANSFORMER project, in particular.
