The 5G-Crosshaul: 5G integrated fronthaul/backhaul Project, part of the European H2020 5G Public-Private Partnership (5G PPP) Infrastructure, held a Plenary Meeting in Madrid on the 8th, 9th and 10th of September, 2015.

The 3 full day meeting has the following relevant agenda:
• System Architecture
• WP1, WP2, WP3, WP 4, WP5, WP6 and WP7 meetings
• Core Members Board
• Project Board
• CSA Working Groups Update
• Planning of activities and next Deliverables

The meeting in the Carlos III of Madrid University hosted more than 50 experts from the 21 consortium members (leading telecom industry vendors, operators, IT companies, small and medium-sized enterprises and academic institutions) sharing their visions and opinions in order to advance in the project objectives, milestones and deliverables.

The 5G-Crosshaul project will define and develop the next generation of integrated fronthaul and backhaul networks that will respond to the needs of the future 5G communications systems.
